I wrote this song for a TV series drama on a true story of 13 young soccer players and their coach who were stuck in a cave in Thailand for 18 days in 2018. The song didn’t make it into the series (they didn’t end up using any music with lyrics in the show, so I’ll try not to be too sad), but I’m super proud of this piece and I want you to hear it!

(All of this footage is actual news footage shared during the kids’ captivity and rescue attempts.)

My writing partner and producer @genemicofsky helped me create a hauntingly beautiful and cinematic song that tells the story of these young soccer players on their initial hike into the cave, the extreme rains that came and locked them in, the prayers of their parents and townspeople (and the prayers of people all around the world), as well as the rescue team (comprised of amazing humans from several countries).

I would be remiss not to mention @svcello who plays an emotional and gorgeous cello section that MADE this song. Listen to the end and you’ll know why I said that!
